Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Akram El-Saeed took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Fábio Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vera Cruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sidónio Peralta took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaser Mido. Gaser Mido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gaser Mido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidónio Peralta went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Vera Cruz's Sidónio Peralta in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bigam's goalie prevented a goal. Batran Nayef hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Vera Cruz's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Akram El-Saeed fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Sidónio Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sidónio Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gaser Mido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Vera Cruz booed when Bigam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aebeed Taher didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Álvaro Moutinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gaser Mido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaser Mido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidónio Peralta in the 41st minute of play forced Bigam's goalkeeper Gaser Mido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batran Nayef charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batran Nayef the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Batran Nayef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sidónio Peralta to strike the kick off in the second half. Hanafy Abdel Masoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hanafy Abdel Masoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. António Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sidónio Peralta came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Vera Cruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidónio Peralta couldn't finish the play. Joel Severiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gaser Mido made a huge save. Sidónio Peralta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaser Mido having to make a save. The supporters of Bigam booed when Vera Cruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaser Mido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidónio Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bigam's Khalil Ashraf got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Sidónio Peralta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaser Mido came out and tried to block the shot, but Sidónio Peralta slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Bigam's Akram El-Saeed got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Vera Cruz booed when Bigam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aebeed Taher didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Bigam got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Lateef. The long shot by Joel Severiano in the 94th minute really tested Gaser Mido's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Joel Severiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gaser Mido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
