Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adalberto Hermes got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Real Scali's Nilton Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Végeir Geirfinnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Akkur Flúðum's Végeir Geirfinnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Nogueira in the 9th minute of play. If Illugi Ingólfsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nilton Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Illugi Ingólfsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raimundo Neto, passed just outside the right post. Dvalinn Steinsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Raimundo Neto made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Þorlaugur Kjartansson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Raimundo Neto to make any attempt to save it. Dvalinn Steinsson took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Neto. Raimundo Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Herleifur Baugsson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes Real Scali's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herleifur Baugsson who took care of the corner kick. Real Scali's Raimundo Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Scali from getting a goal against them. Adhemar Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Þorlaugur Kjartansson in the 39th minute of play forced Real Scali's goalkeeper Raimundo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Illugi Ingólfsson in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Akkur Flúðum defense, Adalberto Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Végeir Geirfinnsson. The Akkur Flúðum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Végeir Geirfinnsson should have stopped the shot.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dvalinn Steinsson was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Real Scali defense, Þorlaugur Kjartansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Neto. The Real Scali fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Neto should have stopped the shot. Raimundo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freymundur Finnbogason in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Real Scali's goal looked a bit too open when Þorlaugur Kjartansson came free, but Raimundo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Þorlaugur Kjartansson in the 62nd minute of play forced Real Scali's goalkeeper Raimundo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Þorlaugur Kjartansson notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Real Scali's Raimundo Neto. Raimundo Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Real Scali's Raimundo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Þorlaugur Kjartansson in the 69th minute of play. Raimundo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Þorlaugur Kjartansson in the 71st minute of the match. Adalberto Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freymundur Finnbogason in the 81st minute of play forced Real Scali's goalkeeper Raimundo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Real Scali defense, Freymundur Finnbogason kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Neto. The Real Scali fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Neto should have stopped the shot. Raimundo Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dvalinn Steinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Raimundo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Þorlaugur Kjartansson in the 89th minute of play. Real Scali's Adalberto Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Walmyr Bastos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Végeir Geirfinnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Akkur Flúðum's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
