The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Abdel Wahab Fadel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolton Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdel Wahab Fadel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute Akram El-Saeed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalil Besheer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Bigam's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mazhar Ismail fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 12 played minutes Bolton Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Barakat Amgad. Bolton Wanderers's Khalil Besheer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akram El-Saeed in the 13th minute of play. Khalil Besheer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batran Nayef, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gaser Mido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazhar Ismail, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batran Nayef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Khalil Besheer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazhar Ismail might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaser Mido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazhar Ismail ran back to his position shaking his head. Bigam's Gaser Mido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazhar Ismail in the 21st minute of play. When Bolton Wanderers's Mazhar Ismail in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bigam's goalie prevented a goal. Gaser Mido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazhar Ismail's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes Bigam's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Farouk Gameel who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Bolton Wanderers's Farouk Gameel to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaser Mido despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gaser Mido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazhar Ismail, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Abdel Wahab Fadel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Mazhar Ismail managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolton Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazhar Ismail was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaser Mido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mazhar Ismail in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaser Mido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaser Mido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazhar Ismail, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Bigam's goal looked a bit too open when Mazhar Ismail came free, but Gaser Mido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akram El-Saeed made a kick off. Mazhar Ismail struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gaser Mido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolton Wanderers. After 58 minutes of play, Bolton Wanderers's Farouk Gameel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaser Mido was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 61 played minutes Bolton Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Samy Hakeem. Mazhar Ismail fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaser Mido having to interfere. Gaser Mido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazhar Ismail's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Batran Nayef was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bigam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolton Wanderers the free kick. If Mazhar Ismail had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazhar Ismail struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gaser Mido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Aebeed Taher charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aebeed Taher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Bigam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aebeed Taher to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Akram El-Saeed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalil Besheer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes, Mazhar Ismail made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bigam's Gaser Mido tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaser Mido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazhar Ismail's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Mazhar Ismail notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Bigam's Gaser Mido. Gaser Mido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 91 played minutes Bolton Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Barakat Fathy. Khalil Besheer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zaky Ayman. Akram El-Saeed was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Bigam's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. There was no doubt that Bolton Wanderers were the better team. Bolton Wanderers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
