Nilton Nogueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Casimiro Peruxu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nilton Nogueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casimiro Peruxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilton Nogueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Casimiro Peruxu had great luck who in the 32ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Adalberto Hermes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Casimiro Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Nilton Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Casimiro Peruxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Scali. The tension between the Jorge Newbery and the Real Scali players grew even worse after the yellow card. 80 minutes into the game, one of Jorge Newbery:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nilton Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Peruxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
