Garry Valentine was left in no man's land by his defense there! Garry Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Þorlaugur Kjartansson in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Illugi Ingólfsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Þorlaugur Kjartansson scored 0-4 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garry Valentine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Friðþór Alexandersson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Wheatmore High School's Wendell Walton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Végeir Geirfinnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Garry Valentine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Wheatmore High School's goal looked a bit too open when Þorlaugur Kjartansson came free, but Garry Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Dvalinn Steinsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Akkur Flúðum's Þorlaugur Kjartansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Garry Valentine. Garry Valentine yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. After 57 minutes of play, Akkur Flúðum's Illugi Ingólfsson made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garry Valentine was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute Illugi Ingólfsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wheatmore High School's Wendell Walton got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 70 played minutes Akkur Flúðum got a freekick which was hit by Enok Gunnlaugsson. Wheatmore High School's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Þorlaugur Kjartansson 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. In the 78th minute, Akkur Flúðum's Þorlaugur Kjartansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Wheatmore High School's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Illugi Ingólfsson scored to the left of an out of position Garry Valentine, making the score, 0-10. Garry Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Illugi Ingólfsson in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Þorlaugur Kjartansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Dvalinn Steinsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Garry Valentine however easily saved by the left post. Mohammad Moses kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freymundur Finnbogason got free with Garry Valentine in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes of play, Akkur Flúðum's Þorlaugur Kjartansson made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garry Valentine was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Akkur Flúðum could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wheatmore High School throughout the match.
