Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Fabricius in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

If Jan Fabricius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hull City's William Feuerstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Ribeiro in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Jan Fabricius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vera Cruz getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Joel Severiano hit a great ball. When Hull City's Jan Fabricius in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 85th minute Jan Fabricius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karlheinz König in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurent Krier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Andre Beaumont hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Fabricius in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Hull City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vera Cruz.
