An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Banaszak in the 3rd minute of play forced Wheatmore High School's goalkeeper Garry Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witomir Ochylski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszek Pozorski hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gniewoszów SA's Witomir Ochylski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Lind in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Gniewoszów SA booed when Wheatmore High School was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wendell Walton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wheatmore High School's Garry Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Rydzyk in the 10th minute of play. Gniewoszów SA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Damian Lind 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 40th minute Teofil Dobilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wendell Walton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witomir Ochylski having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Roman Rydzyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gniewoszów SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Rydzyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Rydzyk to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wendell Walton in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Witomir Ochylski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garry Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Pozorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Witomir Ochylski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Lind in the 69th minute of play. Teofil Dobilas in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Garry Valentine, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 91 minutes of play, Gniewoszów SA's Zbyszek Pozorski made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garry Valentine was left in no man's land by his defense there!
