Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Dvalinn Steinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akkur Flúðum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dvalinn Steinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaser Mido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Þorlaugur Kjartansson in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, one of Bigam:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 16 minutes into the match, Akkur Flúðum's goal looked a bit too open when Akram El-Saeed came free, but Végeir Geirfinnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Þorlaugur Kjartansson sped through Bigam's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaser Mido. 21 minutes into the match, Bigam's Hanafy Abdel Masoud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Végeir Geirfinnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaser Mido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Þorlaugur Kjartansson's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Végeir Geirfinnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akram El-Saeed, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Bigam defense, Dvalinn Steinsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaser Mido. The Bigam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaser Mido should have stopped the shot. Þorlaugur Kjartansson scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaser Mido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dvalinn Steinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gaser Mido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Akkur Flúðum fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Akkur Flúðum's Þorlaugur Kjartansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dvalinn Steinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gaser Mido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.
In the 52nd minute, Hanafy Abdel Masoud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bigam fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. In the 56th minute, Illugi Ingólfsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gaser Mido. The goal made the score 1-7. Gaser Mido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Þorlaugur Kjartansson went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Friðþór Alexandersson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Gaser Mido made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Dvalinn Steinsson sent off a good shot on target. Þorlaugur Kjartansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Gaser Mido skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 77th minute, Starri Hásteinsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Végeir Geirfinnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akram El-Saeed in the 78th minute of the match. Gaser Mido stood somewhat misplaced when Þorlaugur Kjartansson came free in front of goal and shot 1-9 to the left of him in the 84 minute. Gaser Mido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Þorlaugur Kjartansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Gaser Mido was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Þorlaugur Kjartansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Þorlaugur Kjartansson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-10. The supporters of Akkur Flúðum booed when Bigam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taimour Sameeh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörgen Eðvarsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaser Mido. Bigam's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Akkur Flúðum played a much better game than Bigam and deserved their victory. The Bigam players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
