Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jan Fabricius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Bernaldo having to make a save. After 5 minutes, Evaristo Gumaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpasinche and the Hull City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alpasinche's Evaristo Gumaro got a free kick in the 5th minute. Emilio Bernaldo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Hull City's Yannick Fürstenberg. But to his dismay, Yannick Fürstenberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 15th minute, Lothar Bartz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Jan Fabricius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alpasinche's zone, Jan Fabricius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Bernaldo came out of the goal and Jan Fabricius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lothar Bartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Bernaldo having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Alpasinche's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Fabricius came free, but Emilio Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Yannick Fürstenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hull City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannick Fürstenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Fabricius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Fabricius ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th match minute, Alpasinche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Inocente to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Fabricius, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Jan Fabricius might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Bernaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Fabricius ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Fabricius in the 44th minute of play forced Alpasinche's goalkeeper Emilio Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Fabricius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Bernaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Inocente made a kick off. A collision led to Alpasinche getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Anselmo Dalmau hit a great ball. Yannick Fürstenberg struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Emilio Bernaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hull City. After a rather tough play, Hull City's Darius Kemmer got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Jan Fabricius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Christof Heisenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Placido Inocente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Hull City getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Andre Beaumont hit a great ball. Emilio Bernaldo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Darius Kemmer sent off a good shot on target. William Feuerstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Fabricius in the 85th minute of the match. Emilio Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Fabricius, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Angelino Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match, Jan Fabricius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emilio Bernaldo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 96thth minute of the game Jan Fabricius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpasinche's Emilio Bernaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Hull City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alpasinche throughout the match.
