A throw-in in the 9th minute of the game was made by Henrique Prestes with Nilton Nogueira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 11 minutes into the match, Real Scali's goal looked a bit too open when Yannick Fürstenberg came free, but Raimundo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Christof Heisenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jan Fabricius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naldo de Sousa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Raimundo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Fabricius in the 23rd minute of the match. When Christof Heisenberg fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hull City's protests and gave Christof Heisenberg a yellow card for diving instead. Jan Fabricius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Fabricius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Raimundo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, William Feuerstein successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Jan Fabricius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Scali's Raimundo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Fabricius in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adalberto Hermes made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Real Scali's Nilton Nogueira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Feuerstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute, Jan Fabricius fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Real Scali's Walmyr Bastos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sidney Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Jan Fabricius scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the game, Hull City's Jan Fabricius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some careless play in the Hull City defense, Walmyr Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Feuerstein. The Hull City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Feuerstein should have stopped the shot. Raimundo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Fabricius in the 83rd minute of the match. The goalkeeper, Raimundo Neto, was totally fooled by Hull City's Yannick Fürstenberg, who 92 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jan Fabricius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Raimundo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Fabricius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hull City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
