In the 80th minute, Danilo Cibran made a precise shot to the right of William Feuerstein. Hull City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Hull City's Karlheinz König got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Hull City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jorge Newbery.
