Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Areco FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tor Kämpe hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Lino Rios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gabriel Urtats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Cristofor took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Eztebe. Roberto Eztebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Gabriel Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Jan Hop got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Hop in the 20th minute of the match. Venancio Sendoa made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Edgardo Domiku. 27 minutes in the game Tor Kämpe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aquiles Pirro. Lino Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Urtats having to interfere. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Areco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Kämpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 38th minute of play. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Cristofor in the 44th minute. Thiago Silva hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Lino Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Urtats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Rios kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Urtats. That made the score 2-2 in the 62 minute of play. Paul Vase kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Dawid Beckham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Aureliano Arnau replaced Jan Hop. Christoff Stocks struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gabriel Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC FUSION. Gabriel Urtats made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Christoff Stocks sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th play minute Christoff Stocks came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gabriel Urtats. 2-4. Tor Kämpe made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC FUSION's Wojciech Fiszer. AFC FUSION's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
