The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nana Lider came out of the goal and Chiquito Benítez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Puranen in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Puranen in the 18th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes in the game Carmelo Guillem did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anacleto Tiniebra. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Nana Lider, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Chiquito Benítez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Atletico Los Andes's 徐文枫 got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Tiniebra came free, but Eulalio Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 徐文枫 to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pipis Vattimos made a great header on Deportivo Mandiyu's corner, it was just that Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider managed to reach the ball for a save. Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Tiniebra in the 60th minute of play. Nana Lider came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mandiyu's Chiquito Benítez. But to his dismay, Chiquito Benítez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leonides Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the last second Eulalio Bastian throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Deportivo Mandiyu's Arne Bronco was substituted for Leonides Remir. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Benigno Larpe replaced Chiquito Benítez. The supporters of Deportivo Mandiyu booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. 徐文枫 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Benigno Larpe made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nana Lider was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arne Bronco might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nana Lider. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arne Bronco ran back to his position shaking his head. Aristides Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nana Lider having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Larpe in the 96th minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Nana Lider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Mandiyu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
