Doriva Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Bjursell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doriva Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Bjursell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doriva Sousa in the 3rd minute. In the 5th match minute, Sant Hilari FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julián Solana to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Sousa came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Bjursell could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Doriva Sousa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edgar Bjursell to make any attempt to save it. Edgar Bjursell made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Doriva Sousa sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the game, Orvar Guðmarsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ghost Hunters's Ahmet Gökalp Usal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 15th minute, Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Nils-Åke Alströmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sant Hilari FC's zone, Doriva Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Bjursell came out of the goal and Doriva Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orvar Guðmarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orvar Guðmarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Sant Hilari FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Guðmarsson to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Bjursell having to make a save. In the 29th minute Doriva Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Bjursell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Denis De Silva notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik. Jósef Wandzik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Doriva Sousa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgar Bjursell came out and tried to block the shot, but Doriva Sousa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 37th minute. After 42 minutes Sant Hilari FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan-Åke Melander who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ahmet Gökalp Usal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doriva Sousa to make the kick off. Sant Hilari FC's Edgar Bjursell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Sousa in the 51st minute of play. The Ghost Hunters fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Doriva Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Bjursell having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Sousa in the 60th minute of play forced Sant Hilari FC's goalkeeper Edgar Bjursell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Doriva Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ghost Hunters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Doriva Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Bjursell having to make a save. Edgar Bjursell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Sousa in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doriva Sousa in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Bjursell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Doriva Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Bjursell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Doriva Sousa notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Sant Hilari FC's Edgar Bjursell. Edgar Bjursell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Bjursell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doriva Sousa went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Doriva Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ghost Hunters's Shi Yan Lin was substituted for Henri-Patrick Grocholski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doriva Sousa in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Bjursell saved Sant Hilari FC from getting behind. After 86 minutes of play, Ghost Hunters's Jakob Bogren made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Bjursell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis De Silva in the 89th minute of play. Edgar Bjursell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Bogren in the 90th minute of play. Jakob Bogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Bjursell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Bogren in the 95th minute of the match. Ghost Hunters's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
