Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michal Hudák started the match with the kick off. Adam Hrdina made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Belcho Hlebarov sent off a good shot on target. In the 3rd minute, ЦСКА's Belcho Hlebarov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adam Hrdina. Adam Hrdina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Gergin Shtúrbov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Pekarík recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michal Hudák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Anzhelo Gerushin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Zedník's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Michal Hudák had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anzhelo Gerushin. ЦСКА's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Hudák was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Belcho Hlebarov might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Hrdina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Belcho Hlebarov ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lyuboslav Popinski during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lyuboslav Popinski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Hudák came free, but Anzhelo Gerushin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Zedník in the 33rd minute of play. Anzhelo Gerushin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Zedník in the 34th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Hudák came free, but Anzhelo Gerushin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ЦСКА players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFK Petržalka were winning 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belcho Hlebarov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michal Hudák who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Anzhelo Gerushin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Richard Zedník received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anzhelo Gerushin came out and tried to block the shot, but Richard Zedník slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 57th minute. Michal Hudák came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anzhelo Gerushin could save by the left post. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Borbély, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anzhelo Gerushin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michal Hudák in the 63rd minute. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when ЦСКА was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toncho Súrbinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Gergin Shtúrbov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anzhelo Gerushin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michal Hudák in the 74th minute. After 80 minutes ЦСКА's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Pekarík who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Peter Pekarík got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anzhelo Gerushin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 84 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Belcho Hlebarov came free, but Adam Hrdina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Michal Hudák cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Anzhelo Gerushin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to ЦСКА getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gergin Shtúrbov hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Yakim Kunchev put in a rough tackle. The referee gave AFK Petržalka a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Richard Zedník, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin. 1-6. AFK Petržalka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
