With an all-out effort, Ghost Hunters's Máximo Portero threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils-Åke Alströmer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Amelie FC's Gerard López got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 13th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Sabah to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goalkeeper Máximo Portero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doriva Sousa. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Gilbert Lindell got a free kick in the 19th minute. Nicolas Millano's late challenge caught a Ghost Hunters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Millano helped the player get up and apologised. Doriva Sousas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Máximo Portero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jósef Wandzik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mugurel Ghiță went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ghost Hunters were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Amelie FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan-Åke Melander took the corner. The corner ended in Geronimo Eguzki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Amelie FC's Máximo Portero did a great save. Geronimo Eguzki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Máximo Portero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 37 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Máximo Portero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jósef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Ghiță in the 41st minute of the match. Doriva Sousa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Ghost Hunters's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 47 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Henri-Patrick Grocholski.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doriva Sousa to make the kick off. Doriva Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Máximo Portero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Ghost Hunters booed when Amelie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Harman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doriva Sousa took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máximo Portero. Máximo Portero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Máximo Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Sousa in the 59th minute of the match. Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa managed to work through Amelie FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Doriva Sousa dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Amelie FC's Edgar Lopa got a free kick in the 60th minute. Doriva Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máximo Portero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doriva Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Silvanito in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jósef Wandzik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doriva Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Máximo Portero having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Sousa in the 70th minute of play forced Amelie FC's goalkeeper Máximo Portero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik got control of the ball when Saul Silvanito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jósef Wandzik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Silvanito in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Sousa came free, but Máximo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Sousa took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máximo Portero. Máximo Portero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ghost Hunters made a substitution. Virgo Penc replaced Ahmet Gökalp Usal. After some careless play in the Amelie FC defense, Doriva Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máximo Portero. The Amelie FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máximo Portero should have stopped the shot. Ghost Hunters made a substitution. Jakob Bogren replaced Doriva Sousa. For all the effort they put into the match, the Amelie FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ghost Hunters.
