Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Abreu in the 27th minute of play. Adilson de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Bochini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Red Dragon FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Maicon Abreu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Adilson de Amorim got control of the ball when Ricardo Bochini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donato Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Adilson de Amorim made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Bochini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adilson de Amorim was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Adilson de Amorim came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ripa FC's Donato Torres. But to his dismay, Donato Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng was substituted for Donato Torres. Robinho Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Placido Pero might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adilson de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Pero ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gu Chang Peng was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
