The referee showed Paolo Caradaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabrizio Catapano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrizio Catapano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 7th minute of the match. After 9 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Alfonso Goicoechea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabrizio Catapano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabrizio Catapano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Goicoechea scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrizio Catapano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Remigio Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Catapano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrizio Catapano came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Alfonso Goicoechea. But to his dismay, Alfonso Goicoechea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fabrizio Catapano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Mata Tangas de Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Fabrizio Catapano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski had great luck who in the 33rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Henri-Xavier Lenaerts from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Fabrizio Catapano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henri-Xavier Lenaerts made a kick off. Remigio Erramu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fabrizio Catapano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Catapano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 56th minute of the match. Remigiusz Sroka kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Alfonso Goicoechea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Fabrizio Catapano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 64 minutes, Simon Caitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mata Tangas de Victoria and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Mata Tangas de Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Simon Caitano. Mata Tangas de Victoria's Fabrizio Catapano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Mata Tangas de Victoria from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Henri-Xavier Lenaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mata Tangas de Victoria's Fabrizio Catapano got control of the ball when Paolo Caradaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Eustaquio Jaizki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabrizio Catapano. That made the score 0-7 in the 72 minute of play. Fabrizio Catapano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Nevada in the 82nd minute of play forced Mata Tangas de Victoria's goalkeeper Fabrizio Catapano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mata Tangas de Victoria's goalie prevented a goal. 90 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrizio Catapano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. 95 minutes into the match, Mugur Chiriac notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Mata Tangas de Victoria's Fabrizio Catapano. Fabrizio Catapano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Atlético Atlanta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
