An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 3rd minute of play forced Gräskraft BK's goalkeeper 马棋凌 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erik Lundblad fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gräskraft BK's protests and gave Erik Lundblad a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Lundblad hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gräskraft BK's goalie prevented a goal. Olof Ahlquist hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gräskraft BK's 马棋凌 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Pipis Karapatakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 马棋凌 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pipis Karapatakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 马棋凌 having to make a save. Pipis Karapatakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Grêmio FBPA booed when Gräskraft BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Erik Gudmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, André Fors cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jardel Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 马棋凌 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipis Karapatakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Gräskraft BK's corner Edwin Brogren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jardel Sanches quite easily take care of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 马棋凌 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jardel Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pipis Karapatakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filiph Biörling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Biörling in the 42nd minute of play forced Gräskraft BK's goalkeeper 马棋凌 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardel Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 马棋凌 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Lindberg made a kick off. Jan-Erik Gudmundsson got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edwin Brogren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Lindberg in the 61st minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Kaká Rot hit a great ball. Gräskraft BK's Edwin Brogren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Grêmio FBPA. If Pipis Karapatakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Lindberg in the 81st minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 马棋凌 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 84th minute of the match. Pipis Karapatakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Lundblad was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Many of Grêmio FBPA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Grêmio FBPA may have spent more time on the ball, but Gräskraft BK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
