Samuel Souza took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Forsyth. George Forsyth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 23rd minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Angelo Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes Futbol Club RRFV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aureliano Buendia who took care of the corner kick. The corner led CD Municipal's Aureliano Buendia to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Velasco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Didi Castro made in the 26th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fausto Vimaro immediately put the ball in play. Futbol Club RRFV's Angelo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Futbol Club RRFV from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Angelo Velasco to make any attempt to save it. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Futbol Club RRFV! Angelo Velasco had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Enrique Cassaretto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Cassaretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Angelo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Souza got free with George Forsyth in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Didi Castro hit a great ball. CD Municipal made a substitution. Tulio Andinyach replaced Evtim Kúrdzhev. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 68th minute of play. Angelo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Souza got free with George Forsyth in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 81st minute of play. Angelo Velasco came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto. But to his dismay, Enrique Cassaretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Futbol Club RRFV's goalie prevented a goal. Enrique Cassaretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Velasco having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Mosen Colillas got a free kick in the 94th minute.
