Jardel Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerim De Bruyne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Jardel Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darío Pereyra made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pipis Karapatakis immediately put the ball in play. In the 34th minute, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferenc Tököli. Ferenc Tököli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jardel Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorrin Briones in the 39th minute of the match. Humberto Locaio kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Joseph Schwarzfischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Rot, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorrin Briones. Pipis Karapatakis took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferenc Tököli. Ferenc Tököli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Grêmio FBPA's Kaká Rot managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Damián Alcazar in the 84 minute of the game. Jerrold Taranco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jardel Sanches made a huge save. Grêmio FBPA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
