A collision led to la Conarda C.F. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Selmo Revuelta hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Alfonso Goicoechea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ritchie Pastor, 1-0. Anselmo Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ritchie Pastor having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Alfonso Goicoechea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Roman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Moreno during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes la Conarda C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Moreno. In the 26th minute Mugur Chiriac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Pastor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by la Conarda C.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Ferdinand was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Atlanta's players had a chance to rest. Club Atlético Atlanta's Ciro Ferdinand was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ritchie Pastor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Goicoechea made a kick off. la Conarda C.F.'s Ritchie Pastor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski got control of the ball when Walery Roman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Walery Roman sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th match minute, la Conarda C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selmo Revuelta to maneuver through the defense. Ritchie Pastor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 64th minute of play.
