Emil Chwalkiewicz made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Remigio Erramu. A sloppy throw-in by Kerim De Bruyne in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Atlético Atlanta's Ciro Ferdinand. If Eustaquio Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jorrin Briones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 35th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Jorrin Briones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Jorrin Briones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal and Jorrin Briones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pankracy Glogowski was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Jorrin Briones capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorrin Briones really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Goicoechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Remigio Erramu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 51 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ferenc Tököli was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jorrin Briones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorrin Briones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferenc Tököli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Jorrin Briones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Cristiano Salah was substituted for Jorrin Briones. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jerrold Taranco was substituted for Luís Paulo da Fonseca. When Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Cristiano Salah in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner led Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Joseph Schwarzfischer to fire away a dangerous shot which Pankracy Glogowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
