Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pipis Karapatakis made the kick off which started today's match. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 4th minute of play. After 6 minutes A.D. Alcorcón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Estevon who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Pipis Karapatakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot. Arcadio Ramiréz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Belo Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jardel Sanches made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in A.D. Alcorcón's zone, Pipis Karapatakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurino Serena came out of the goal and Pipis Karapatakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pipis Karapatakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Pipis Karapatakis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pipis Karapatakis's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Pipis Karapatakis sped through A.D. Alcorcón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. Apolinar Guijarro charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolinar Guijarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apolinar Guijarro hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Pipis Karapatakis notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.D. Alcorcón's goalie prevented a goal. Maurino Serena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pipis Karapatakis went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute Manolo Bacete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Grêmio FBPA were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Jardel Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Antunez in the 52nd minute of play. When Manolo Bacete came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the A.D. Alcorcón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Bacete couldn't finish the play. A.D. Alcorcón's Eriz Acha was substituted for Natxo Cacheres. Pipis Karapatakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Grêmio FBPA's Nestor Leão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arcadio Ramiréz in the 65 minute of the game. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Biörling in the 78th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grêmio FBPA were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after A.D. Alcorcón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Estevon took the corner. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Alberto Estevon shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 82nd minute, 0-8. After 89 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Arcadio Ramiréz. Maurino Serena made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Pipis Karapatakis sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Grêmio FBPA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
