In the 13th minute of the match Leroy Antunez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Velasco skillfully saved the ball. After 18 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos de Brito. Futbol Club RRFV's Angelo Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Bacete in the 19th minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Souza in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Futbol Club RRFV were awarded a corner. Norberto Lara went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Samuel Souza put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maurino Serena. 28 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Vimaro came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Alvarez in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Bacete in the 30th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Angelo Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belo Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Velasco having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Fausto Vimaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurino Serena. A.D. Alcorcón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Vimaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 40th minute Manolo Bacete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Vimaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

After 50 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Vadillos. Futbol Club RRFV's Angelo Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belo Alvarez in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belo Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Martins in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Bingen Campos. Bingen Campos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Manolo Bacete succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. The audience was convinced that Fausto Vimaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurino Serena was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Angelo Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolo Bacete's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Maurino Serena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Souza in the 75th minute. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Ortiz in the 85th minute of play. Zé Carlos de Brito hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Manolo Bacete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Futbol Club RRFV players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
