The ball went over the crossbar instead. la Conarda C.F.'s Ritchie Pastor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save la Conarda C.F. from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind la Conarda C.F.'s goalkeeper Ritchie Pastor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of la Conarda C.F. booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiph Biörling didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, la Conarda C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Ritchie Pastor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frechoso Molina took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jardel Sanches. Jardel Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes Deivid de Sena shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Ritchie Pastor when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ritchie Pastor. That made the score 2-1 after 36 minutes of play. Jardel Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Negro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Franco Nazzari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 played minutes la Conarda C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Andres Sicilia. 52 minutes into the match, la Conarda C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Ritchie Pastor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes in the game, Pipis Karapatakis dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Pipis Karapatakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ritchie Pastor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pipis Karapatakis ran back to his position shaking his head. la Conarda C.F.'s Ritchie Pastor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 58th minute of play. Ritchie Pastor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Jardel Sanches was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frechoso Molina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 67 minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Frechoso Molina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. la Conarda C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio FBPA the free kick. Ritchie Pastor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 75th minute of play forced la Conarda C.F.'s goalkeeper Ritchie Pastor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, la Conarda C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Moreno to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Alberto Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Estevon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ritchie Pastor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 85th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Pipis Karapatakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ritchie Pastor was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 90th minute of play forced la Conarda C.F.'s goalkeeper Ritchie Pastor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
