In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mata Tangas de Victoria's goalkeeper Fabrizio Catapano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Filiph Biörling got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabrizio Catapano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 7 minutes into the match, Mata Tangas de Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Fabrizio Catapano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrizio Catapano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pipis Karapatakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Catapano was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Pipis Karapatakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Fabrizio Catapano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 26th minute, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Pipis Karapatakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabrizio Catapano. Pipis Karapatakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Fabrizio Catapano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filiph Biörling showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henri-Xavier Lenaerts stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Pipis Karapatakis sped through Mata Tangas de Victoria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabrizio Catapano. Fabrizio Catapano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Pipis Karapatakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Catapano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pipis Karapatakis scored 6-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrizio Catapano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrizio Catapano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Pipis Karapatakis put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabrizio Catapano. The audience was convinced that Pipis Karapatakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Catapano was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After having played for 81 minutes, Pipis Karapatakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pipis Karapatakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis in 81 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fabrizio Catapano guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 83 minutes into the match, Pipis Karapatakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrizio Catapano. Mata Tangas de Victoria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pipis Karapatakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. After 87 played minutes Mata Tangas de Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Galeno. Mata Tangas de Victoria's Fabrizio Catapano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mata Tangas de Victoria's zone, Filiph Biörling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Catapano came out of the goal and Filiph Biörling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Pipis Karapatakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrizio Catapano was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Grêmio FBPA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
