Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franco Verdeja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Carballeira in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 黄竞枫 in the 19th minute of play forced Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Jairo Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when 黄竞枫 came free, but Jairo Castellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xiao Yang Xuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Verdeja having to interfere. The Club Getafe Deportivo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Getafe Deportivo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
