The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Iron Maiden FC's Günalp Talip got a free kick in the 5th minute. Mazarópi Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 黄竞枫 in the 9th minute of play. Clive Burr kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Franco Verdeja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Biçim in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Ofelio Dobale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Murray in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Verdeja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aimar Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazarópi Barros having to interfere. Franco Verdeja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Harris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Verdeja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Murray in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to MI EQUIPO getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kaká Bertassi hit a great ball. After some careless play in the MI EQUIPO defense, Dave Murray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Verdeja. The MI EQUIPO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Verdeja should have stopped the shot. Ofelio Dobale struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Mazarópi Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MI EQUIPO. After 36 minutes of play, Iron Maiden FC's Arın Biçim made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Verdeja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ofelio Dobale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazarópi Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Arın Biçim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MI EQUIPO's Franco Verdeja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Arın Biçim made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Steve Harris got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Franco Verdeja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 56 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden FC's goal looked a bit too open when 黄竞枫 came free, but Mazarópi Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazarópi Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 黄竞枫, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Franco Verdeja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günalp Talip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by MI EQUIPO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Günalp Talip was slow to take the kick. During this time Iron Maiden FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 68th minute of the match, Günalp Talip tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Verdeja saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to MI EQUIPO getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Aimar Fernandez hit a great ball. Iron Maiden FC's Ekialde Abajas was substituted for Günalp Talip. In the 72nd match minute, MI EQUIPO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aimar Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in MI EQUIPO's zone, Dennis Stratton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Verdeja came out of the goal and Dennis Stratton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mazarópi Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ofelio Dobale, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Iron Maiden FC's Mazarópi Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 黄竞枫 in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 黄竞枫 in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mazarópi Barros saved Iron Maiden FC from getting behind. Franco Verdeja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arın Biçim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mazarópi Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ofelio Dobale, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 黄竞枫 in the 84th minute of play forced Iron Maiden FC's goalkeeper Mazarópi Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Iron Maiden FC got a freekick which was hit by Rob Halford. The Iron Maiden FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Iron Maiden FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
