Hans Reints could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jerrold Valcarcel made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Atlético Ourense's Unai Calatayud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Paris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Unai Calatayud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Paris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Unai Calatayud might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Paris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unai Calatayud ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Unai Calatayud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, one of CerKeteam:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CerKeteam. In the 19th minute, Unai Calatayud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Paris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, CerKeteam's goal looked a bit too open when Unai Calatayud came free, but Adolfo Paris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Unai Calatayud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Atlético Ourense got a corner. CerKeteam's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrico Carmona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Unai Calatayud heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Adolfo Paris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Calatayud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Atlético Ourense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Unai Calatayud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Calatayud in the 38th minute of play. Jerrold Valcarcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriche Diez in the 40th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Adolfo Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Unai Calatayud in the 51st minute of play. The throw-in from Corneliu Văcăroiu in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético Ourense's Euloxu Bermudez. Unai Calatayud struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Adolfo Paris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Ourense. Adolfo Paris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Unai Calatayud in the 59th minute. Isac Chirilă's late challenge caught a Atlético Ourense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Chirilă helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, CerKeteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Chirilă to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CerKeteam's Zahar Casas got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Enrico Carmona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unai Calatayud, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The CerKeteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Paris should have stopped the shot. After having played for 82 minutes, Seve Dobale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Ourense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seve Dobale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the CerKeteam defense, Tartalo Rajoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Paris. The CerKeteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Paris should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seve Dobale in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Paris saved CerKeteam from getting behind. Seve Dobale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Atlético Ourense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CerKeteam throughout the match.
