Atlético Ourense's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Los once leones Ourense. 8 minutes into the game, Tartalo Rajoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mao Si. Tartalo Rajoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jerrold Valcarcel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Cacheres in the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Atlético Ourense defense, Edelmiro Calvo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerrold Valcarcel. The Atlético Ourense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerrold Valcarcel should have stopped the shot. After 25 minutes of play, Los once leones Ourense's Nereo Cacheres made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerrold Valcarcel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goalkeeper Mao Si had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tartalo Rajoi. Dabi Vila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jerrold Valcarcel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dabi Vila took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerrold Valcarcel. Jerrold Valcarcel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dabi Vila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Los once leones Ourense's Mao Si played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Calatayud in the 52nd minute of play. Edelmiro Calvo made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sebastián Paz. Atlético Ourense's Jerrold Valcarcel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dabi Vila in the 59th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Los once leones Ourense's Jerrold Valcarcel threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dabi Vila, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dabi Vila in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerrold Valcarcel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tartalo Rajoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mao Si tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Seve Dobale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mao Si was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Cacheres got free with Jerrold Valcarcel in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Los once leones Ourense booed when Atlético Ourense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herberto Palacios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seve Dobale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mao Si tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Atlético Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Dabi Vila came free, but Jerrold Valcarcel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Atlético Ourense getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Seve Dobale hit a great ball. Leandro Merino hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Calvo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Mao Si came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Ourense's Seve Dobale. But to his dismay, Seve Dobale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Atlético Ourense's Jerrold Valcarcel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo-Enrique Alabern in the 90th minute of play.
