The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adulfo Alcantara came free, but Mazarópi Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iron Maiden FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Günalp Talip in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Günalp Talip got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bahiano Camarasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 7th minute, Arın Biçim made a precise shot to the right of Bahiano Camarasa. Triana Rep. Ind.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Günalp Talip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahiano Camarasa having to interfere. With his leg Bahiano Camarasa managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Iron Maiden FC's Dave Murray fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 17 minutes into the match, Triana Rep. Ind.'s goalkeeper Bahiano Camarasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Murray. After some careless play in the Triana Rep. Ind. defense, Arın Biçim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bahiano Camarasa. The Triana Rep. Ind. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bahiano Camarasa should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Triana Rep. Ind.'s Justo March got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 30th minute Günalp Talip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahiano Camarasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahiano Camarasa made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Dave Murray sent off a good shot on target. Arın Biçim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Bahiano Camarasa made a huge save. Mazarópi Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amaro Casas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Triana Rep. Ind. were awarded a corner. Cristofer Rivera went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Triana Rep. Ind.'s Amaro Casas got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Triana Rep. Ind.'s zone, Dave Murray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahiano Camarasa came out of the goal and Dave Murray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Triana Rep. Ind. booed when Iron Maiden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Torrent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amaro Casas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Adulfo Alcantara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazarópi Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arın Biçim made a kick off. Ola Lagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazarópi Barros having to interfere. Dave Murray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bahiano Camarasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
