Ciudad de Soria's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Rubio came free, but Olo Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciudad de Soria! Olo Kahn had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Ivan Rubio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Villa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
