Jairo Castellano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Castellano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonsalve Flores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Curcio Carballeira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Curcio Carballeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the U.D. Mancini defense, Curcio Carballeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonsalve Flores. The U.D. Mancini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonsalve Flores should have stopped the shot. Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 18th minute of play. Bozhil Vaptzarov might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Castellano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bozhil Vaptzarov ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 20th minute of play forced Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Jairo Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curcio Carballeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonsalve Flores having to interfere. Gonsalve Flores was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Curcio Carballeira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Curcio Carballeira really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Gonsalve Flores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute Bozhil Vaptzarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Castellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, U.D. After 44 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Ziguenza. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

If Curcio Carballeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano got control of the ball when Bozhil Vaptzarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mancini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. U.D. Mancini's Brion Macia was substituted for Nemesio Quiroga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Esken got free with Jairo Castellano in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Getafe Deportivo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
