Cyprian Grajewski hit a great ball. Otávio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Souza in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Cyprian Grajewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danone CC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Otávio Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duarte de Castro in the 39th minute. Thiago Motta made a great header on U21 Brazil's corner, it was just that Danone CC's Otávio Massa managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Grajewski to strike the kick off in the second half. Guilherme Souza struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Souza couldn't finish the play. U21 Brazil's Elói Alcântara was substituted for Guilherme Souza. The audience was convinced that Elói Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otávio Massa was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The U21 Brazil fans cheered their team off the field, for while Danone CC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
