Krystian Żmuda took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigore Dijmărescu. Grigore Dijmărescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Atlético Unión Florida's goalkeeper Saul Erauso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandru Stolojan. Grigore Dijmărescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krystian Żmuda, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Unión Florida's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandru Stolojan made a kick off. A collision led to ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hernan Meder hit a great ball. With a little luck, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Grigore Dijmărescu got control of the ball when Venancio Musko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venancio Musko ran back to his position shaking his head. Saul Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Foster Brennan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Alexandru Stolojan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Erauso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Foster Brennan in the 87th minute of play forced Atlético Unión Florida's goalkeeper Saul Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigore Dijmărescu came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Unión Florida's Narciso Rufo. But to his dismay, Narciso Rufo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atlético Unión Florida had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
