But to his dismay, Ciprian Caba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marioara Chiricheş in the 14th minute of play. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marioara Chiricheş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Ion Ike in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Alinborger's Mădălin Ignat. After 41 played minutes U21 Romania got a freekick which was hit by Radu Rusu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Veronica got free with Cristian Voican in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Gane in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Bîlbă was the one to do the kick off. Doru Teodoroiu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Sorin Dragușin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 51st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Alinborger getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sebastian Bleile hit a great ball. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Caba in the 56th minute of the match. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC Alinborger from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciprian Caba in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeu Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Gane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Romania were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after FC Alinborger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sorin Dragușin took the corner. After 63 played minutes U21 Romania got a freekick which was hit by Radu Rusu. Cristian Voican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Bîlbă in the 64th minute of play. Sebastian Bîlbă took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Voican. Cristian Voican dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. FC Alinborger's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Virgil Gane scored to the left of an out of position Tadeu Moraes, making the score, 1-5. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Caba in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Ciprian Caba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadeu Moraes. The goal made the score 1-6. When U21 Romania's Ciprian Caba in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Alinborger's goalie prevented a goal. Angel Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Caba in the 88th minute of play.
