The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Douglas de Souza made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. MANIACOS's Norberto Monzón tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Léo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colon Averasturi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Remo da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Monzón was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Mansilla came free, but Léo de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Montay Villatreses in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Léo de Brito saved Floresta Club U18 from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, MANIACOS's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Castro came free, but Norberto Monzón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Endrik Edmundo charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Endrik Edmundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Douglas de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Monzón was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the MANIACOS defense, Tomé Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Monzón. The MANIACOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Monzón should have stopped the shot. A well placed Gilmar Castro short distance shot in the 30th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. A collision led to Floresta Club U18 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gilmar Castro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montay Villatreses in the 37th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Léo de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MANIACOS's zone, Tomé Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Monzón came out of the goal and Tomé Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Tomé Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Monzón. MANIACOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomé Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé Reis got free with Norberto Monzón in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilmar Castro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norberto Monzón. That made the score 6-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

In the 52nd match minute, Floresta Club U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endrik Edmundo to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, MANIACOS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Reis came free, but Norberto Monzón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Monzón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floresta Club U18's Léo de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Montay Villatreses in the 58th minute of play. MANIACOS's Roderigo Fontanez was substituted for Colon Averasturi. Douglas de Souza took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Monzón. Norberto Monzón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas de Souza in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Monzón saved MANIACOS from getting behind. Norberto Monzón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Maia in the 90th minute of the match. When MANIACOS's Montay Villatreses in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floresta Club U18's goalie prevented a goal. If Tomé Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Floresta Club U18 fully deserved thier win.
