Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Roberto Perfumo in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cougars FC's Jannic De Vreese. Arnoud de Pelsmakere came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikingos FC's Vladimiro Lauro. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Lauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Mehat Kovaçi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastián Sosa was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Roberto Perfumo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Mehat Kovaçi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Sebastián Sosa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vikingos FC's Roberto Perfumo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jannic De Vreese in the 25 minute of the game. Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 36th minute of play. Mehat Kovaçi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastián Sosa having to make a save. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehat Kovaçi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Perfumo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute Vladimiro Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Lucrețiu Filipașcu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Lauro in the 54th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Mehat Kovaçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Perfumo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastián Sosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastián Sosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehat Kovaçi's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Luciano Lleir replaced Per-Olof Vallmark. Cougars FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fiori Guimarães in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Fiori Guimarães got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastián Sosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute Steffen Gimlinge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen Gimlinge in the 92nd minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vikingos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
