The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Rien Oss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Gonsalve was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Uriel Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rien Oss in the 7th minute of play. Rien Oss might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uriel Gonsalve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rien Oss ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldao's Uriel Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rien Oss in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Rien Oss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Muñes de Don Cuco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Rien Oss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Uriel Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rien Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aldao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guaberto Jacindo was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Muñes de Don Cuco's players had a chance to rest. 20 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Gonsalve narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rien Oss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Uriel Gonsalve made a huge save. Uriel Gonsalve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rien Oss's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Aldao's goalkeeper Uriel Gonsalve had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rien Oss. 28 minutes into the game, Rien Oss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Uriel Gonsalve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute Rien Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Rien Oss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rien Oss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aldao's goalkeeper Uriel Gonsalve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rien Oss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Uriel Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rien Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Rien Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baron Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Sein went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Rien Oss made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rien Oss in the 52nd minute of play forced Aldao's goalkeeper Uriel Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Rien Oss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aldao's Uriel Gonsalve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Aldao's goal looked a bit too open when Rien Oss came free, but Uriel Gonsalve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rien Oss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Muñes de Don Cuco made a substitution. Ramon Pero replaced Rien Oss. In the 62nd match minute, Aldao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Ramon Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Pero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uriel Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Pero in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Aldao getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Constantino Tiadoro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Pero in the 71st minute of play forced Aldao's goalkeeper Uriel Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guaberto Jacindo in the 76th minute. After taking down the ball on Los Muñes de Don Cuco's corner Peyami Hasanbeyli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Uriel Gonsalve quite easily take care of the ball. When Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Ramon Pero in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aldao's goalie prevented a goal. The throw-in from Constantino Tiadoro in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Wilfredo Mero. In the 84thth minute of the game Ramon Pero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aldao's Uriel Gonsalve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Los Muñes de Don Cuco were awarded a corner. Guaberto Jacindo went to the cornerflag to take it. Los Muñes de Don Cuco were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Aldao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guaberto Jacindo took the corner. The corner led to Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Iker Losada getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Ramon Pero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Gonsalve was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Los Muñes de Don Cuco walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
