The referee ignored Atlético Nuevo Laredo's protests and gave Rodrigo Rojas a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Atlético Nuevo Laredo got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Rojas. Benicio Javiero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cüneyt Berksoy's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Felix Calisto hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Belchior Mamatov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero didn't even have to move. Benicio Javiero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cüneyt Berksoy's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobías Astorga during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when Atlético Nuevo Laredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobías Astorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 24th minute, Cüneyt Berksoy made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Javiero. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobías Astorga in the 27th minute of play forced UPTEXTIL.COM's goalkeeper Mateus Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Belchior Mamatov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Ruisko got free with Benicio Javiero in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paolo Ruisko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benicio Javiero having to make a save. Fabian Hitzeder hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Cüneyt Berksoy came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the UPTEXTIL.COM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cüneyt Berksoy couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Paolo Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Paulo Queirós took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benicio Javiero. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlético Nuevo Laredo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! The audience was convinced that Cüneyt Berksoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Javiero was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 67 minutes, Cüneyt Berksoy made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cüneyt Berksoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paolo Ruisko took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Javiero. Benicio Javiero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Ruisko in the 85th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Benicio Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Hjortberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Martin Ødegaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benicio Javiero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Flavio Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes, UPTEXTIL.COM's Zé Paulo Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benicio Javiero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UPTEXTIL.COM reached it. UPTEXTIL.COM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
