Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zsombor Karsai started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Fetea came free, but Pál Mester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Radu Fetea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pál Mester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Fabien Van Daelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 10 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Gabrielsen. 11 minutes into the match, Nickolai Nickerson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Red Devils's Pál Mester. Pál Mester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 15 minutes, Tomasz Jakubowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel and the Red Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tomasz Jakubowski hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a freekick which was hit by Allan Olofsson. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsombor Karsai in the 28th minute of play. Pál Mester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nickolai Nickerson in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Nickolai Nickerson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pál Mester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 35 minutes, Nickolai Nickerson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nickolai Nickerson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 played minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Rivarola. Nickolai Nickerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Mester having to interfere. The Red Devils players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nickolai Nickerson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Steffen Gabrielsen in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Fabrício Rivarola. Pál Mester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nickolai Nickerson's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Red Devils's goalie and right to Nickolai Nickerson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Red Devils's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Valentin Elg was substituted for Morgan Möllgren. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Per-Arne Gunnarsson was substituted for Rei Bolas. Zsombor Karsai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Soned read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Carlo Ancelotti got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlo Ancelotti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pál Mester came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Carlo Ancelotti. But to his dismay, Carlo Ancelotti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 80th minute Carlo Ancelotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Devils's Pál Mester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Ancelotti in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Carlo Ancelotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsombor Karsai in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Carlo Ancelotti made a precise shot to the right of Pál Mester. Red Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 95 minutes into the game, Steffen Gabrielsen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Fabrício Rivarola quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Carlo Ancelotti struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Pál Mester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Étoile Sportive Du Sahel. The Red Devils fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
