Jacinto Galeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Pilberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Águilas Poblanas's Jacinto Galeno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Pilberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Johnsson in the 27th minute of play. Filip Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp in the 32nd minute of the match. Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Pilberg having to interfere.
