The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulkerim Türköne got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Cosme Larpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Bebben Johansson got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 17th minute of play forced Ipswich Traktor Boys's goalkeeper Marcos Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 20th minute of play. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Golden Lions FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ipswich Traktor Boys getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Berndt Edelweiss hit a great ball. Marcos Basso came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno. But to his dismay, Loco Durazno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 37th minute Cosme Larpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mats Nyström made a kick off. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nyström in the 55th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Loco Durazno made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Marcos Basso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Ipswich Traktor Boys's goalkeeper Marcos Basso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loco Durazno. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Ipswich Traktor Boys:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Golden Lions FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Marcos Basso, was totally fooled by Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Golden Lions FC's İbrahim Efe Topdemir was substituted for Hazım Tuğlu. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Niklas Lundqvist was substituted for Abdulkerim Türköne. Mats Nyström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Basso came out and tried to block the shot, but Mats Nyström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 74th minute. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. In the 78th minute Mats Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Ipswich Traktor Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Nyström came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Burç Tokhan in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Basso saved Ipswich Traktor Boys from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Burç Tokhan took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Marcos Basso to make any attempt to save it. Marcos Basso was a little too slow when Burç Tokhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-6. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Joschi Hook got a free kick in the 97th minute. Chants of Golden Lions FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ipswich Traktor Boys had held the ball for most of the match.
