Strömsbro IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mao Jun Yun in the 14th minute. Brazilio Butt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, DIF LEEDS BK's Ulf Nordlander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rıza Vuralhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Saul Drew made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Strömsbro IF's Mao Jun Yun. In the 22nd minute of the match, Argyris Papapetrou got a very nice opportunity to score, but Brazilio Butt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Argyris Papapetrou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 24th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Argyris Papapetrou in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brazilio Butt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Argyris Papapetrou scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brazilio Butt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Kristiansson to maneuver through the defense. Argyris Papapetrou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brazilio Butt having to make a save. Rıza Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Argyris Papapetrou in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brazilio Butt saved DIF LEEDS BK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Bambas in the 86th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position.
