The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jouni Markkula didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Loco Durazno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was a well-played corner which Joschi Hook managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the GrassNuts FC defense, Loco Durazno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Su Peng Jian. The GrassNuts FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Su Peng Jian should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Mats Nyström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience was convinced that Loco Durazno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Su Peng Jian was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anders Lundqvist made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Verner Wahlnäs sent off a good shot on target. Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after GrassNuts FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arne Tönnberg took the corner. Golden Lions FC's Igor Dzierwa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Su Peng Jian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Su Peng Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 44th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Loco Durazno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Su Peng Jian saved GrassNuts FC from getting behind. After taking down the ball on Golden Lions FC's corner Arne Tönnberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Su Peng Jian quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Loco Durazno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loco Durazno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Su Peng Jian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mats Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Burç Tokhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burç Tokhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Wahlnäs in the 71st minute of the match. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. İbrahim Efe Topdemir replaced Hazım Tuğlu. Su Peng Jian made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Burç Tokhan sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Burç Tokhan notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian. Su Peng Jian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Burç Tokhan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Su Peng Jian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Burç Tokhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Su Peng Jian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Burç Tokhan ran back to his position shaking his head. Brian Lindberg made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bernt Finnman immediately put the ball in play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burç Tokhan struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Su Peng Jian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. Golden Lions FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
