Syrianska FF's Wictor Mejling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 26th minute of play. Wictor Mejling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Loco Durazno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wictor Mejling was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Wictor Mejling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Mats Nyström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wictor Mejling was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 46th minute, Tage Damm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Golden Lions FC's Joakim Haegg tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Nyström in the 53rd minute of play forced Syrianska FF's goalkeeper Wictor Mejling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Syrianska FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joakim Haegg was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Golden Lions FC's corner Joakim Haegg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wictor Mejling quite easily take care of the ball. After 58 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Hazım Tuğlu. In the 60th minute, Golden Lions FC's Joakim Haegg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joakim Haegg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Golden Lions FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joakim Haegg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Anders Lundqvist went to the wrong direction when Thomás Nickerson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Wictor Mejling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Nyström in the 65th minute of play. Mats Nyström took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wictor Mejling. Wictor Mejling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Wictor Mejling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nyström in the 73rd minute of the match. Wictor Mejling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 81st match minute, Syrianska FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Hökkvist to maneuver through the defense. Syrianska FF's Sigvard Wahlnäs was substituted for Thomás Nickerson. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Joschi Hook replaced Cosme Larpe. After 82 played minutes Syrianska FF got a freekick which was hit by Frans Hökkvist. 86 minutes into the match, Burç Tokhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wictor Mejling. Syrianska FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Burç Tokhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 89th minute Bebben Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Mejling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Syrianska FF's goal looked a bit too open when Bebben Johansson came free, but Wictor Mejling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Georg Termander made a precise shot to the right of Wictor Mejling. Syrianska FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. There was no doubt that Golden Lions FC were the better team. Golden Lions FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
