When Vitaliy van der Aa came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the GrassNuts FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitaliy van der Aa couldn't finish the play. After 6 minutes of play, Strömsbro IF's Tommy Asklöv made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Su Peng Jian was left in no man's land by his defense there! GrassNuts FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 13th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Su Peng Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Argyris Papapetrou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Su Peng Jian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Bambas in the 20th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes GrassNuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Verner Wahlnäs. GrassNuts FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Bambas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 44th minute Argyris Papapetrou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The GrassNuts FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Strömsbro IF were winning 0-4.

After 51 minutes, Argyris Papapetrou made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the game, Argyris Papapetrou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Su Peng Jian. Argyris Papapetrou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Argyris Papapetrou in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Su Peng Jian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Wahlnäs in the 64th minute of play. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Wahlnäs in the 73rd minute of play. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Argyris Papapetrou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Su Peng Jian. That made the score 0-7 in the 78 minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Bernt Finnman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GrassNuts FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Finnman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Su Peng Jian made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Argyris Papapetrou sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Argyris Papapetrou put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Su Peng Jian. Kent Stenman took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rıza Vuralhan. Rıza Vuralhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Strömsbro IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
