In the 12thth minute of the game Peder Alström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kent Näver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Durazno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kent Näver having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 17th minute of play forced INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kent Näver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Loco Durazno made a precise shot to the right of Kent Näver. INIXET BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Karl-Magnus Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loco Durazno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kent Näver having to make a save. In the 27th minute Mats Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Loco Durazno sped through INIXET BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kent Näver. With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Carl Kalfhage tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anders Lundqvist made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Sören Gregersson sent off a good shot on target. Kent Näver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 36th minute of the match. INIXET BK's Kent Näver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Larpe in the 42nd minute of play. Anders Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Kalfhage in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes Golden Lions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tom Lövgren who took care of the corner kick. INIXET BK's Tom Lövgren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anders Lundqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to INIXET BK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Peder Alström hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Nyström came free, but Kent Näver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Carl Kalfhage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kent Näver made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 62ndth minute of the game Loco Durazno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INIXET BK's Kent Näver was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loco Durazno let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 62nd minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. Burç Tokhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Näver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Pål Svanberg. Burç Tokhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kent Näver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Burç Tokhan ran back to his position shaking his head. Kent Näver made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Burç Tokhan sent off a good shot on target. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Kalfhage in the 82nd minute of play. INIXET BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Joschi Hook scored to the left of an out of position Kent Näver, making the score, 0-6. 91 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Kalfhage came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Näver stood somewhat misplaced when Burç Tokhan came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 93 minute. The Golden Lions FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Golden Lions FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
