The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Belo Alvarez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Basso. Belo Alvarez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Bacete in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, A.D. Alcorcón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belo Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulkerim Türköne in the 12th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Abdulkerim Türköne notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belo Alvarez got free with Marcos Basso in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute of the match A.D. Alcorcón got a corner. The Shadows's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leroy Antunez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Basso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdulkerim Türköne in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurino Serena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulkerim Türköne came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Holmgren in the 42nd minute of play. When Herbert Holmgren got free in front of the goal in the 43rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Maurino Serena was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Manolo Bacete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Basso having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
After a defensive mix-up in The Shadows's zone, Manolo Bacete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Basso came out of the goal and Manolo Bacete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Delmar Mayor. Herbert Holmgren took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Bacete, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute Herbert Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Ni Yu Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Shadows's Niklas Lundqvist was substituted for Abdulkerim Türköne. After a rather tough play, The Shadows's Ni Yu Feng got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Belo Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Shadows's Marcos Basso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Belo Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Basso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Leroy Antunez kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Leroy Antunez hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Herbert Holmgren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maurino Serena firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcos Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Esteban Vadillos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Ortiz in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Holmgren got free with Maurino Serena in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the game, A.D. Alcorcón's Manolo Bacete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Basso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 91st minute of play. The A.D. Alcorcón support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
